It’s not possible to live in Prince Albert and not to paint, or draw, or take photographs. The land is so wide, the sky so high, the colours so mystical. And at night you can inhale the stars. Although my work does not directly reflect my surroundings, I am always conscious of them.  

I moved to Prince Albert from Cape Town and established Dennehof Guesthouse and, later, Country Estates. In my “former life” I was a PR consultant to clients such as Shell, The Mount Nelson Hotel ( Cape Town ), Homestead Dairies, Gametrackers ( Botswana ) and the Westcliff Hotel ( Johannesburg ).  

I have written six hardcover books on South Africa travel for Struik Publishers. The newest title is Simply South Africa – A Culinary Journey, which combines food and travel through this beautiful country.
