Daniel Jacobus Louis Nel                                                       

Born 1973/06/05 Cape Town

I grew up in Cape Town , moved to Pretoria in 1985. Matriculated at Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool, Pretoria in 1991. Studied Fine Arts At the University of Pretoria for 2 years. Travelled in Europe for a year.

Worked as a desktop publishing artist for 2 years. Moved back to Cape town in 1996.

Worked in the film industry until 2003 as a scenic painter and props person.

Have been painting professionally since 2003.

Currently living in Gordons Bay.  

Had an exhibition in Melville, JHB at Bamboo Art gallery, February 2004

I show work in various galleries around the country.
