Mariana Botha

Mariana Botha is a self taught artist who uses oil paint as medium.

She describes her art as follows:

”Painting to me is a way to escape, to meditate. I try to capture the simple beauty of elements that surround me either in a still life or in nature. My challenge is to paint the light and the temperature of colors and it is often just the way that the light falls on an object that attracts my attention. I believe that a true artist is one that inspires others.”
